How does it work?

As it is not always easy to part with cherished pieces that you enjoyed seeing worn, we support families in their desire to pass them on.

Selling your Bonpoint wardrobe has never been so simple: all you have to do is drop off the item at a participating store, and our teams take care of the rest.

Once the items have been checked by our in-store teams, a gift voucher corresponding to the trade-in amount can be used on the e-shop or in stores.

Trade-in conditions

Your item must be in perfect condition, meaning clean, with no defects or tears. It must include the brand label as well as the inner composition and care labels.

We only accept items that have their identification number*. This number is indicated on the first line of the inner composition and care label.

Please note that certain categories are excluded from trade-in: Bodysuits, Pyjamas, Comforters, Baby care items, T-shirts, Leggings, Accessories, Shoes, Furs, Shearling, Leather, Women.

Only identification numbers whose first three characters contain the digits “01”, “02”, “03”, “04” or the letters “PE” are accepted.

The Bonpoint Vintage advantage

All garments are cleaned and pressed, and repaired if necessary, before being put up for sale. The same care and attention to detail applied to all of the brand’s collections are given to these timeless, ever-iconic pieces.

How does the Bonpoint Vintage trade-in service work?

Online trade-in is currently unavailable. You can still resell your items in store.

The Bonpoint Vintage trade-in offer is limited to individuals aged 18 and over and residing in mainland France only.

Please note that we do not accept Bonpoint items belonging to the following categories:

Bodysuits, Pyjamas, Comforters, Baby care items, T-shirts, Leggings, Accessories, Shoes, Furs, Shearling, Leather, Women.

Your item must be clean, intact, and fully functional: no missing elements, no holes or tears, no stains or odors.

Stained, damaged, and/or items requiring repair will not be eligible for a trade-in credit.

The condition of items is defined as follows:

  • New condition: These items have never been worn and still have their original tag. They may come from customer returns following exchanges or press returns.
  • Excellent condition: These items are practically new with no signs of wear or visible defects.
  • Very good condition: These items show only minor signs of wear.

The number of items accepted is limited to 10 per person over the last 30 days.

Trade-ins are personal: the person presenting items in store for a trade-in or completing one online must be the holder of the Bonpoint Vintage account.

As part of an eco-responsible and upcycling approach, any item that does not meet one of the three conditions mentioned above will be donated to a specialized textile recovery association or reused by a partner.

Once the trade-in request has been generated, simply print the transfer form, sign it, and include it in your parcel.

You may send several items in a single box.

However, use only one shipping label, and keep the stamped proof of drop-off.

Your parcel can be dropped off at a Post Office, a Pickup relay, or a Chronopost agency. You will find the list of drop-off points at https://www.chronopost.fr/fr/relais-pickup

Upon receipt of your parcel, our Quality Experts will check the condition of your items and confirm the associated trade-in value. If the conditions are met, you will be notified by email within 15 business days (from the date your parcel is received by our warehouse) of the credit to your Bonpoint Vintage customer account.

Your gift card balance is credited progressively as your items are validated by our Quality Experts. If several of your items are accepted, you will be credited with an amount corresponding to the total value of all accepted items.

Please contact our Customer Service only if the 15-business-day timeframe has been exceeded.

You will then be able to generate one or more gift cards at your convenience (date and amount) and use them within 6 months from their date of issue on one of the following three channels:

Can I resell any type of item?

What amount will I receive?

When you submit a trade-in request, our simulator provides a buyback value between 30% and 60% of the original in-store retail price including VAT, depending on the type of product and the condition you declare for each item.

This value is validated or adjusted if necessary by our reconditioning team and is credited directly to your Bonpoint Vintage account within 15 business days (from the date your parcel is received by our Quality Experts).

Please contact our Customer Service ONLY if the 15-business-day timeframe has been exceeded.

If our team finds that the returned items do not meet the trade-in conditions and cannot be resold, your account will not be credited.

However, rest assured: rejected items are given a second life.

They are donated to an association specializing in textile recovery or reused by a partner as part of an upcycling approach.
